Emerald katan silk with a deep red and gold woven border, in fine Banarasi kadhwa. Vana, for the forest.
A Banarasi katan in deep emerald, weighted at the border with a hand-woven kadhwa pattern in red and gold zari. Emerald is one of the rarer ground colours in the Banarasi tradition: harder to dye evenly without the silk losing depth, and prized for the way it pools in the folds of the drape.
